Often times newborns who are being breast-fed will fuss or will not breast feed at all on one side.
And this is usually the same side all the time.
The reason for this is that there has been a degree of birth trauma causing a pinched nerve or kink in the baby’s neck.
This will make lying on one side or turning the head to one side uncomfortable or painful resulting in fussy feeding or no feeding at all.
This is not good for the baby or the mother.
Gentle chiropractic adjustments to relieve the pinched nerve and correct the kink in the neck will allow the baby to position properly & comfortably feed from both sides.
We have helped many new-borns with this problem and other related conditions such as colic.
